Will I know Her Pain

The blue of the night, reflected, precise, I do say, her eyes,
Her face drawn in a little frown, I guess, I can play a part in her games.

The angel who saw life depart,  as her wings were clipped,
Caught in an inter-twined truth, I play a part in her tears.

Life was just a little hidden treat, a ball mask, to be forgotten,
As the night settles deep, I see her blue eyes moisten.

My little dream, she blossomed,  she withered with the sun,
Dreams written on a page, I wish I could paint them pretty.

Purple bled the canvas, as the wings re-grew,
A fraction of an eon, they did stay, then fade at dawn.

Fate was a cruel joke, a celestial ploy, she would sigh,
A hug, a kiss, was that all I could gather, was that all I could give.

I saw her bloom, I saw her fade, I saw her grow, I saw her age,
I saw the little dreams blossom, I saw the dreams turn to nightmares.

But, till the end, I was unable to feel her pain.

The Chronicles of Lies

I listen to the ghost of my past,  scribbling words of wisdom.
In my head, the voice is recast, in shades darker than my soul
End, closer than before.

I see her grow more than a horror,  love that never gave me repose,
My mind transpired to her mirror, the paintings captured the reflections.
I disappear, she remains.

She held my hand in vain, an affection lost to the winds of morrow,
I kissed her lips in pain, her ghost lingers in my thoughts,
She appears, I fade.

The promises act their roles, in the theatre of lies, I play my part
Her smile inspired ballads, retold, heroes die, villains die, but my love oh dear,
Play ends, the curtain falls.

Shades darker than the grey, as the clouds gather, her smile fades,
I hear the little angel say, despair my friend, is your mistress,
She fades, the lies continue.

I play my part, in the self woven lies,
I play my part, in the chronicles of my life,

The Castle of Metus

In the forest of shadows, amidst the setting darkness,
A crumbling leaf echoes through the walls of fear.

As the horse hoofs dig a mark in the dirt,
The rain recedes into the shadows of draught.

A twig breaks, the crackling kindles a fire,
Drips the moist dew, as night hones the darkness.

An echo is heard, a low hum of sorrow,
The forest shrugs, a shiver runs down its spine.

The knight in clanging armour, raises his sword,
The knee buckles, a fall of the century ensues.

The dark night, clad in fear, raises its shield,
Against a sword sharpened to the grit of sorrow.

The knight fights the night, fear a fools bravado,
The clanging armour crashes again, shatter, the sound echoes.

A spear of nightmare, thrust deep into the flesh,
The knight raises his arm, the sleep is lost.

The clanging armour and silence of the shadows,
Clash into the night, as the castle of Metus trembles.

I fight myself, the shinning armoured knight,
I fight myself, the shadow donned night.

I fight, and rally to win the Castle of Metus.

Chiruthevi: The Vengeance

"Death awarded at the hands of the one she loved, reborn a bewitching damsel,  to waylay men with her beauty and to drink their blood ..."

Do you lust for my soul,
Or my malice filled beauty.
Lay your heart out, let me suckle,
Lay your life out, let me bathe.

My tears laugh at your pain,
The scars arouse me, embalm me,
Let your wounds talk, let them kiss me,
As I submerge in your passion.

I see your fiery eyes, locked on me,
The scars did little to quench your ardor,
And as the last of the reds flee,
I relinquish my fury,  my heart drunk yet sober.

Its my heart's content that I seek,
Vengeance, long forgotten, yet,
My alluring words, a kiss so bleak ,
As your sweat ichor fuels my youth.

Why did you betray, my love.
Why did the noose tighten,
Why was I reborn,
To suckle on the life of men.

The Dwellers of The Refried Bean Can.

This Poem is dedicated to the stranger named Eki.

The day was long, and night no different,
So he sat pondering over an empty can.
And long did his thoughts run,
Wild did they go before dissolving into night.

At length he stood up, to throw the empty can
At length his thoughts failed, he had no plans.

The can spoke, a feeble voice,  or he thought,
'The nights been long, I should sleep'.
The can spoke again, scared he dropped,
'I am Eki', the voice echoed through the night.

He was startled, 'My mind is playing tricks'
He was startled, 'I just heard a can speak'.

'Who speaks, I demand to know', he asked,
Scared white, and ghastly pale, he asked.
'I am Eki, and I live in this can', the can replied.
His sleep was lost, and darker grew the night.

'Why do you live in a can', he mustered some courage,
'Why do you live alone in a can', his thoughts ran strange.

'I am not alone', replied the can,
'Who else lives there', he sat besides the voice.
'I don't know his name, call him Clyde'
'And I love this can', the voice sparked the night.

'I must be tired', He thought to himself,
'I must be tired', to hear a can talk some sense.

'I was in Nebraska, before I moved in',
He couldn't help, but listen to the  talking can.
'And two years old I am', giggles, to tease the scared man.
'But Its dark in here mister, and Clyde is scared of the night'.

He couldn't help, but listen to the story,
He couldn't help for he felt a little sorry.

'I can help you move out of the can',
'No, we like it here', retorted the can.
'So what do you call your can.' He seemed interested,
'The Refried Bean Can', the voice sparkled into the night.

They talked for hours, into the darkness of the night ,
They talked for hours, till the morning sun light.

Somewhere through the talk, his sleep caught up,
A small nap, as the morning rays hit his eyes,
He woke up, found the can in broad day light,
He opened it, searching for Eki, from the night.

The can lay bare, empty as from the night,
The can lay bare, Eki was nowhere in sight.

One Song Poem : Voice of the Unheard

The touch of cool breeze, unwavered by thought,
She sat, her hair wavering like silken thread,
The Sun was her companion, as it smiled and shined,
Silence was her friend, as she sat, lost in thoughts.

A butterfly fluttered around her, wings flapping,
A gust of wind, she felt, raising her hopes of a new tomorrow,
The ruslting of the leaves, the stutter of the nature,
The thoughts were only what made her, the tresses of her past.

Niether did the gods could help her, as silence crept in,
Long lost were the days of pompous celebration,
As she sat, by her dark corner, walls casting their shadows,
The glimmer of sun, lost in the silence of her day.

A twig broke, cracking through her being,
A tear sparkled as she stood, walked away from herself,
The portrait of a bright future, dallying by her fingers,
Will this ever end, Will I ever speak.

A firefly twinkeled, as the night broke out,
The shadows of the walls, long lost to the night,
She walks, away from everything she knew,
Every thing that defined the being she was.

A hug, the tears find their way,
Paving a path of sorrow, she tramples,
The dying flowers, reflect her hopes of tommorrow,
Nothing but rain, as the clouds curl up.

The silver lost to the lust, she held it at her heart,
The rain would lash out its fury, as clouds darkened.
The silver lost to the clouds, as the moon hid in the night,
And it rained, her tresses wetted by tears of god.

Will she ever speek?

The Reflections

I see my self in her eyes, reflections of my soul...

The eyes talk, make the world believe,
Her little eyes, they sang the story,
Our eyes meet, I see her story painted, like a movie.

The mirrors are everywhere, they are you, in you,
The mirrors made me love, made me hate.

Her little lips parted into a smile,
Her little rose lips came together in a kiss
As our lips parted, she began to sing, the story.

The walls soon will reflect, what you are,
The walls would loose their color, reflect your monster.

Her little hands hold on to mine,
I feel comfortable, fear nothing but me,
The warmth soon fades, as the fingers slip, empty space.

The water runs wild, flooding the world,
And I see my reflection, I drown in my reflection.

The Lady In The Portrait

The sweet smile, and a morbid love,
I never knew, what changed my mind,
But when I drew her on my canvas,
It was night for me, and sunshine for her.

I tried, to make the colors look alive,
But she was adamant, made me look grim,
I reasoned with her, and then a long walk,
But nothing would change, for she was mine.

I drew her, a damsel in distress,
I drew her, for I loved her face more,
The colors were alive, and vibrant with fear,
Then a scream, when my true colors came alive.

Was it the noose, or the blade,
I couldn't tell but she screamed,
She called me crazy, a compliment,
When I let her dangle on her life.

She was captured, never to be free,
She was enslaved, within my dreams,
Then with a chilling shrill, she broke free,
Death became her solace.

I tried reason, but she would't listen,
I tried love, but she would't understand,
For all she saw was a withering cloud,
Under the shadow of a new dream.

Then finally to capture her,
To enslave her within my portrait,
I tightened my noose and swung my knife,
Until not a red drop would remain.

Fear Of a Crimson Dream

Wrapped around in a hazy dream, I slip down a pipe hole,
Frozen in fear, as the solitude becomes my nightmare,

Green witch clad in a purple robe, wave your wand, let me free,
As the anger I smoke in, to breath out a crimson cloud of dream.

I walk, leading my path, a burning fire, wobbling in front of me,
I slide to see what is there for me to see, blank spaces with seesaws.

I see her run infront of me, my little guardian angel, who never sleeps,
But today she is drunk, she is drunk with my ingratitude, and solace.

Life played a trick on me, magic is never true, I shout in the streets,
Life played a trick on me, left me to fend for my self, I paint on the walls.

The crimson nights would come, when the dreams would cease,
Then the shades of yesterday would comfort your sleep, as you try to dream.

A unicorn that flies, with the wings of a mighty eagle, pure as white,
Dreams are for those who can sleep, but for me, its the black of the blankness.
